Call Queue

Call queue is a feature which allows you to effectively manage inbound calls. In the event that all are representatives on a call, your callers will hear customizable hold music or special event or product offering while they await the next available representative instead of being directed to voicemail. You can also adjust settings for your call queue size and call queue time and may decide whether callers are told their queue position.

Auto Attendant

An auto attendant is a pre-recorded professional greeting that welcomes your callers and directs them to the appropriate extension. Your auto attendant greeting is fully customizable. You may make new recordings at any time over the phone, or upload a new greeting through your WebLINK Internet Control Panel.

With MPC's VoIP service you have the ability to alter your greeting based on your needs. Businesses often change their greetings based on business hours or during holiday periods. When distributing calls, ACD can be configured to consider relevant information such as Most Time Idle and Weighted Call Time. The system even allows for Skills-Based Rotation, making sure that the most qualified representative has the opportunity to take the call. Additional distributions include Round-Robin, a setting that forwards the call until it is answered, and Simultaneous Ringing, which rings multiple lines at once.

The CounterPath X-Lite

The X-Lite is a free application downloadable to your computer. This program appears as a phone dialing console complete with graphical display and can be used with microphone and speakers to place and receive calls in place of your Polycom VoIP phone. Users also have the option of video conferencing by using a webcam. With the X-Lite software, users can take advantage of the software’s basic features such as 3-way calling, do not disturb, speed dial, contact management, and call history.
